Blending Tradition and Technology: A Woodcraft Journey Inspired by Family
I grew up in New England, where some of my best memories were made in my father’s woodshop. I spent countless hours by his side, learning the craft and watching him bring raw wood to life with care and creativity. Around the age of 55, my father turned his passion into a small business called ECP Woodcrafts, making beautiful bowls, pens, and other lathed pieces. His dedication and artistry left a lasting impression on me.
After moving to Arizona over 30 years ago, life got busy—and space for a proper workshop just wasn’t in the cards. But recently, that changed. I finally had the chance to carve out a little room for myself and invested in a WeCreat 40W laser machine. With it, I’ve begun rediscovering the joy of working with wood, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern tools.
Each item I make is a tribute to the skills my father passed down and the simple joy of creating something with your hands. Whether it’s a gift, a keepsake, or a functional piece for your home, I hope my work carries a bit of that legacy into your life.
